All Elite Teams will practice at both locations. Top Level athletes looking to play against the best teams in the country with a wide variety of traveling for all three teams- (*Potentially Triple Crown, MEPL, Bluegrass, JVA World Challenge, Emperors Cup(18's Only), MLK Fort Lauderdale Invite and a few others)
-Will be asked to make one tryout at both locations. Times and Dates are online & social media for Bama Elite.
NATIONAL
12-18's National Teams (Guntersville & Birmingham)

9-11 Tournaments
All National teams will practice at their location during the week, Sunday's practice will be in Guntersville. This is high level program with plenty of great competition weekends travel wise (*SEPL, Bluegrass, JVA World Challenge, MLK Bash and other events in Alabama and Tennessee)

REGISTRATION PROCESS ***PLEASE REGISTER EARLY. ATHLETES MUST BE REGISTERED PRIOR TO TRYOUTS
Register online at www.munciana.com. You will be directed from there to the PlayersFirst website where you will complete registration, pay the tryout fee of $50.00. Please note that the tryout fee payment is nonrefundable. It may be paid by credit card or ACH during the registration process. To guarantee your registration is processed and ready for tryouts, plan to complete registration prior to your first tryout date. No one will be allowed to tryout if they are not properly registered, and the tryout fee is paid.
What levels of teams do you have? National and Regional have could potentially have multiple teams per age group.
- Elite 14, 16,18: OPEN TO ALL PRACTICES AT BOTH LOCATIONS, play in 9-11 tournaments, attend AAU National, participation fee is $3,390.
- National 13-18s: Practice 3 times per week,4.5-6 hours per week, play in 9-11 tournaments, attend AAU Nationals, participation fee is $2,990.
- Regional 13-18s: Practice 2 times per week, 3-4 hours per week, play in 9-11 tournaments, participation fee is $2,405.
- *New In 2025- Youth 10-12’s: Practice 2 times per week, 3-4 hours per week, play in 6 events, participation fee is $1,850.
- TNT Program: Ages 6-12/Beginner Level, practice 2 times/week January 2 through April 26, no tournaments, participation fee is $600.

What is the Regional program? The regional program is an option for athletes who might want a reduced time commitment because of a school sport or other activity, they might be new to the sport, physically they are not yet ready for the next level, or it provides a more economical level of participation. Whatever the reason, they still get trained the Bama Elite way. Each regional team has a coach, but a master coach runs the practices.
Regional players will tryout at the same time as National teams.
What is the Youth division? The youth division will be for ages 10-12’s and will practice twice a week at their certain location. Also, this season will end by the second weekend of April at the latest. We are doing a limited travel schedule for the young athletes getting involved with the sport.
What should I know about tryouts?
- In each age group Elite, National, Youth and Regional players will tryout at the same time. TNT does not tryout and will start on January 6. TNT program is only in Guntersville.
- Please arrive early to check in. (Check-in opens one hour prior to an age group tryout).
- Every athlete must get sized for uniforms prior to their first tryout date.
- Please come dressed and ready to tryout. Tryout shirts will be given to all athletes when you check-in.
- Players are expected to attend all tryout sessions. If a conflict arises, please contact the Bama Elite office.
Which age group do I try out for?
18 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2006
*It is expected/important that players try out in the age group they belong
17 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2007
16 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2008
15 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2009
14 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2010
13 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2011
12 and Under – Players who were born on or after July 1, 2012
How much are participation fees? They are based on the level and age of a team and are listed below. The participation fee includes coaching, gym rental, insurance, administrative fees, a uniform package, and a recruiting fee for Elite, National & Regional teams. All athletes must pay the tryout fee prior to the first tryout date for your age group and is non-refundable. After team selections, Payment (PF) #1 secures your spot on a team and is non-refundable. It is due by July 17 for 12-18s and December 5 for TNT. Participation fees can be paid in full, or a payment plan is available below.
Two discount situations may apply when paying participation fees. 1) If a family has multiple athletes playing, the first athlete playing will pay their participation fee in full. Each additional sibling playing will receive a $100 discount. 2) If the full participation fee is paid when team selections are made, the athlete/parent will receive a $100 discount per athlete. Please contact the Bama Elite office to apply for this discount.
